Phil Hunter

Phil Hunter (Drums & Vocals)

Originally from Glasgow drummer Phil Hunter stays near Drums in the far North East of Scotland. He comes from generations of great drummers, his grandad drummed in many jazz bands, his Dad bashed the big drum with pride all over the country in marching bands. You could say his destiny was already decided and that matched his passion which was to play the guitar. Sadly though he wasn't good enough, so like his father and grandfather before him he settled for the drums

Tony Littler

Tony Littler (Front Man)

Tony was born and raised in the North West of England His first stage appearances were in the early 80’s playing bass guitar with punk cover band ‘Alf Roberts and the Rude Grocers’. Tony then moved around the world spending time living in Holland, France, Monaco, Australia and eventually settling in Aberdeen. Tony Became front man in an Irish cover band in the 90’s where he met and played alongside Nick Bowen (Bass Guitar). The two of them moved on to form rock cover band ‘Ten Tall Men’ with the legendary Big Phil Hunter (now the Swamp Snakes Drummer) and James Graham (Lead Guitar). After about seven years the band split and went their separate ways. Tony was asked to front up and coming Rock band ‘FUBAR’ alongside Micky Duncan (Drums) & Dave Hammond (Lead Guitar). The band stayed together in this format for about four years and at the height of their success played support for Bryan Ferry to an audience of 11,000. Eventually Tony then Dave then Micky gave the band up to do other things. Tony had a sideway swerve into a solo career playing acoustic guitar and singing in Irish bars around Aberdeen eventually drifting into Sand up Comedy. In early 2009 Tony recieved a call from Micky saying that he was thinking of putting a band together along with Dave and would he like to be lead vocals. How could he refuse? However they now needed an experienced Bass Player. Tony contacted his old mate Nick and ‘May Contain Nuts’ were born. Critics called them the Travelling Wilbury’s of Aberdeen (i.e. the best bits out of all the other cover bands) and said they wouldn’t last more than a year. And so the story goes.

Big Kev McLeod

Big Kev McLeod (Bass Guitar & Vocals)

Dragged up and running feral in Teesside, Nick’s (Bass) first ventures into playing started after buying himself a bass and drum machine in 1985. He’d been through a phase of New Romantic and Goth before turning to the local indie scene forming a local band with a couple of guitar thrashing monkeys from Middlesbrough. In Newcastle the Money may have been for nothing and chicks for free, but in the Boro, the money was robbed and the chicks were comatosed on whatever paint or glue they could nick from Halfords. The band still had no name but plenty of new material, Nick was still learning but could produce a loud deep noise and with the intent on trying to improve himself literally took a head on course into the back of a van at 60 mph. The resulting brain injuries not only improved his attitude and playing ability, it also gave rise to a name for the band – The Outpatients.
The Outpatients played all over England and lasted until 1989 after their single made radio one airplay and received rave reviews in NME and Melody Maker. Out of work and without a band Nick moved to Aberdeen on a whim and a promise of a job in Oil and Gas. Nick was always going on at his missus about wanting to start up another band; after all he still had his bass and amp getting old and unloved in his garage, and it wasn’t until he met Tony that his desire to play again was achieved.
Nick and Tony started playing together in an Irish band before breaking up and the two of them moved to Monaco for a year, playing duet in the pubs and clubs in the south of France. On return to the UK, “Ten Tall Men” were formed and the love for playing rock and punk covers grew.
Nick then moved on to help form the band “Real Shocks” concentrating hard on his abilities and helping write many new songs, reaching a peak in 2004 where after playing live on Radio one and Radio Scotland got a slot playing the SXSW festival in Austin Texas. They carried on playing for another couple of years but after too many name changes and changes of musical direction they split.
A call from Tony quickly got Nick playing  Rock and Punk covers he so loved and with Dave, Micky and Kenney “May Contain Nuts” were born. The rest as they say is still being written.

James Graham

James Graham (Lead Guitar & Vocals)

James is actually an alien in human form who hails from the planet "zabratzabnik'. He is cunningly using "may contain nuts" Aberdeens number one covers band as his decoy . Unwittingly Jamse's fellow band members Phil, Tony and Kev know nothing of his origin and his evil intentions . James aka dratzab 1 plans to stay with may contain nuts until they build up a huge following. He then intends to brainwash the fans and use them to take over the world , look out for may contain nuts performance of Ziggy Stardust . Romour has it this is the signal for the invasion. Muahhhh ha hahahahaha ( evil laugh)
